Digital footprints are permanent, even if you think you've deleted something, there will be traces on the internet. Because of this "digital permanence", anything that happens on the internet, will stay on the internet. This might affect your future opportunities; in work or school. Posting something inappropriate may deny you a place in a prestigious university, or get you fired from a job. Something like that will also cause people who've seen you on the internet to judge you before they've even "met" you. So how exactly do you keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe?
